About Me and my passion for candles.
Kathy at the Candle Outlet
Oshkosh, Wisconsin was home to many candle factories.
My inlaws both worked for Lenox Candle company until the company closed.
I Loved the once a year tent sales they had.
Oshkosh also used to have a outlet store that carried all the brands that Blyte Industries owns.
PartyLite, the Colonial Candle of Cape Cod, Colonial at HOME, Kate's and Carolina, its products are also sold under the Colonial, and Carolina brands.
It was a awesome store to shop in but closed up 4 years ago.
It was a big Secret but Partylite products that were discontinued or overstocks were sold at the outlet store.
Once too many people found out they started shipping the products overseas..........
Lol it was good when it lasted...
The outlet store had bins and bins of tealights.
The tealight brand that you could purchase in bulk were Partylite tealights.
They never told anyone and you had to figure it out yourself.
My friend Karen and I would get the partylite books and try to figure out what scent the tealights were by reading the catalog.
We bought thousands of tealights and it would take hours to count them.
The store had tealights in every scent and color.
I felt sorry for the clerks when we checked out as they had to recount every tealight in the huge bags we had.
We sold tealights purchased from the outlet store for the first year that we were on eBay.
We also sold our extra perennial flowers on eBay.
I had to make my own products instead of buying them when my husband Tim was laid off from his job.
The first thing I wanted to learn to make was tealights LOL.........
I have tried every wick out there and just Have never been happy with all soy tealights.
In the fall I will offer a Soy Blend tealight.
As more people purchased our candles it led to opening our own website.
That is my story on my addiction to candles and to candle scents.
Most candle makers are addicted to candle scents and do love to read about them.

We are a small family business.
Our products are made in our home and not in a factory.
I alone make all of our products.
My husband Tim is the shipping department.
I work in a local nursing home in the program department.
Your orders are filled on my days off from that job.
